The moonlight slid down along the texture of the bamboo leaves, and the bamboo forest was full of fine mist, grey and dusky. Sparkling and crystal-clear morning dewdrops hung on the tails of the leaves. "Please don't go, dear moon," the morning dewdrop said softly, but its voice was nothing compared to the rustling of bamboo leaves.

The shadowy figure of the moonlight was hiding nearby, first lying on the rock by the spring, then falling into the reflection in the water. While peeking at the dewdrops, it gently shook its head: "It's late!"

"Go back to sleep, and then maybe you will see me again."
