A rose plant grew alone on the edge of the stairs of the ruined church, with small dark green branches struggling to spread their curled arms, and finally flowered beautifully relying on the occasional sunshine and water which little girl Lucy added to her.

"It's so beautiful," the angel exclaimed.

"Are you here to take her away?" Lucy asked, holding the watering can in her hand, gently pulling the angel's sleeve.

"After all, she is the only one left behind."

The angel gently wiped the tears from the corners of Lucy's eyes, and covered her cheek with rose mark using a sacred white flame. "Those who have been kissed by roses will stay happy!"
