Just Married

The Fish Not to Lose its Way

Day by day, the fish decorates its tail fins with shiny stones like guiding shimmer that paves the way. She says, “I can not miss the morning dew, the afternoon sun. Silvery reflection, give me the gaze of assurance, the freedom I yearn for.”

As lanterns rise over the neon-covered ocean, fishes are wandering in the lonely city. She says, “Silvery reflection, forget my pride and cherish my snuggle. My heart is like a swinging pendulum; my love is like a lamb gone astray.”

The dim light is the beacon for fishing boats; the stars are floating lights. The fishes are losing sleep. She says, “I like you at times. Silvery reflection, let us embrace and linger. I am a fish trying not to lose my way, my direction…”
